AMU considers a transfer student to be someone who has taken more than 24 college credits. A first-time college attendee, or FTCA, is someone who has taken fewer than 24 college credits.
If a student is transferring with college credits, a transfer evaluation will be completed by the registrar to determine what courses may be transferred to AMU and which equivalent courses they would replace.
